Applications are open for the BFI Film Academy: Summer Residential in Cinema Programming

Are you aged 16-19, passionate about film and would love to work in the world of cinema in the future? Applications for the 2024 BFI Film Academy Residential at Showroom Cinema are now open!


We welcome young film fanatics, from across the UK, to take part in this month-long course. You'll learn all about indie cinema, including film programming, film distribution and marketing.


Plus, you'll get to put on your own film festival at the Showroom Cinema too. The residential programme is an excellent springboard into the industry. This year's speakers include renowned film critic Danny Leigh and Flo Cartwright with more to be announced!
