South Yorkshire Talking Together

Supporting children in our region to learn vital speech, language & communication skills

South Yorkshire Talking Together is a speech, language, and communication pathway for 0–5-year-olds. They offer universal information on supporting speech, language, and communication development to both parents and professionals through their website, training, and events; as well as offering targeted intervention for children aged 2-4.


In Doncaster, the Start for Life Better Health Campaign partnered up with Rhubarb Theatre & held two interactive sessions based on The Gruffalo at The Point in November 2022 & The Stick Man at Cast in December 2022. The stories were told using movement, drama, art and storytelling & the sessions help children to develop their creativity, imagination, social and communication skills. Rhubarb Theatre will be holding future events so watch this space!d
