The Great Green Read

Inviting Children to boost their literacy skills whilst learning more about British wildlife and how we can all support and protect it.

The Great Green Read, hosted by the National Literacy Trust and in partnership with the Rotary, is an opportunity for children to learn and discover more about the world around them, empowering them to use their literacy skills to take action and protect local wildlife whilst educating others within their community.

From creative writing competitions and author events there are lots of great ways to get involved.
