The Rose Learning Trust Choir Performing at The Royal Albert Hall
The Rose Learning Trust Choir have been selected to perform at the Music for Youth Proms on Tuesday 14th November at the Royal Albert Hall.
Established in 2022, The Rose Learning Trust choir unites children from diverse communities, backgrounds and locations with a talent of singing.
Working in partnership with Rainbow Connection, the choir is seen as a way of re connecting and coming together after the isolation so many children suffered from over the pandemic. Having these opportunities to perform and sing in front of large audiences and on national stages with fantastic compositions and teaching from Rainbow Connection, has given the children confidence, not just in singing, but in trying new and different experiences even when it might seem difficult.
One child said, “It gets me over my stage fright. Makes me more confident to be with big groups and perform. I lost my confidence over lockdown because I used to perform before that."
Music for Youth is a national youth music charity that works across the UK with young people. The regional festivals were held at over 30 locations and welcomed over 30,000 young musicians and singers to perform. To be selected for the national festival and then to perform at the Music for Youth Proms at the Royal Albert Hall has been a huge achievement for the choir!
